Dr. Patricia Bloom is an associate professor of geriatrics at Mt. Sinai and the director of integrative health at the Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. She has been involved in geriatric patient care, education, and research for over 25 years. Her major interests are the promotion of healthy aging, developing systems of care for the elderly, and dementia.
If terminal patients were made more comfortable with the process they’re going through, perhaps fewer would be interested in assisted suicide.
