Prior to joining Big Think, Marc built out the product score and review database for gdgt, a social shopping site for consumer electronics enthusiasts, and drove the reinvention of leading tech site Engadget following AOL’s acquisition of gdgt. He also managed Consumer Reports’ purchase of Consumerist from Gawker Media – the company’s first acquisition in its 75-year history – and directed Consumer Reports’ efforts to develop a robust freemium business model. He has extensive experience managing widely distributed teams comprising content specialists, developers, business managers and product groups, and international staff throughout North America, Asia and Europe.
