By the time you read this, it is quite possible that rebel forces in Libya, with the help of NATO, will have succeeded in their goal of toppling Colonel Muammar el-Quaddafi’s regime and seizing power in Tripoli.


At the time of this writing, insurgents had taken control of Quaddafi’s compound, seizing some gold-plated guns in the process, and were in the process of transferring their administration to the capitol, while the embattled Colonel continued to issue radio threats from hiding against the “rats, crusaders and unbelievers” who had put him there.
