What’s the Latest Development?

The concept of info-vision– streaming information across a person’s field of vision–is close to crossing from science fiction to reality. Scientists have developed a prototype lens that could one day provide the wearer with all kinds of hands-free information, as well as display directions and TV programs.

What’s the Big Idea?

Believe it or not, while the amount of information that could appear in front of our faces is mindboggling, the researchers say that all the components are so tiny that the normal field of vision would not be obstructed. The super-lenses are the brainchild of a nanotechnology expert. One was placed into a rabbit’s eye without causing any problems to its health.
