Space Robot

A human-shaped robot is being sent to the International Space Station to serve as an assistant to the astronauts living there. The bot will eventually be used to help with extravehicular activities.

NASA has announced that in September it will send a humanoid robot into space to serve as an assistant to the humans on board the International Space Station. Former roboticist Daniel Wilson says that it’s incredibly important that the robot being sent has a human form because “It has to be able to pick up any tool that an astronaut could use and go outside.”
