I’m back from Denison Geosciences Department Field Trip the Smokies of Tennessee and North Carolina – I’m exhausted but it was a great trip for all.
And just for fun, anybody want to answer why the sign in the photo below is appropriate for the rocks in the outcrop? I don’t want to give any clues, but this was taken on the slopes of Clinch Mountain.
