Question: If you don’t win, will it have been worth it?
Mitt Romney:Well, of course it’ll be worth it. It’s been a great experience even to this date to get to know people from across the country. I have made friendships that will be lasting and they are profound in states across America. I’ve also found large numbers of people who are more acquaintances today than deep friends, but I come away inspired by their love for the country. So that will always make it worth it. And I do expect to win. I hope to win, but . . . But even if I didn’t win, it would still be a great experience that I wish I could share in great detail with everybody in the country.
