John McCain: Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton?
John McCain: I do believe it sends a message that there’s a monarchy (Chuckles); that somehow it’s either the Bushes or the Clintons. I think it’d be healthy that others that may not be part of the Washington establishment such as myself with a minority background, a governor from the Southwest, get a chance. I do believe it sends a message that somehow there is a succession in American politics – that we make decisions based on political pedigree and not on background, and qualifications and experience.
