Warren is very concerned, especially among the black population.

Question: Are you concerned about rising AIDS rates in the U.S.?

Rick Warren: I’m very concerned that AIDS is on the rise in the U.S. because it’s rising most among the black population. It’s rising most among black women. Black women are one of the most vulnerable and least vocal groups in our culture. When wealthy white guys had AIDS, it was all over the place, okay? And they got their briefcases, and they’re fighting it in Congress, and they’re doing this.
