MLS All Star Game Tonight and Mike McGee Long Distance Volley Against Manchester City

The MLS All-Star game tonight pits league All-Stars against Manchester United. Game time is 830pm EST on ESPN with Thierry Henry and David Beckham suiting up for the MLS side. Over the weekend, the LA Galaxy tied United’s cross-town rival Manchester City in regulation, only to lose in penalty kicks. Take a look at the terrific long distance volley for goal by the Galaxy’s Mike McGee in the game highlights below.

The LA Galaxy lost 7-6 in a penalty shoot-out with Man City keeper Joe Hart scoring the winning goal. Of note, fellow Dartmouth College alum and rookie Daniel Keats scored the first penalty for the Galaxy, powering a confident strike down the middle of the net.
