The challenges to his include “USDA rules that make cooking too expensive for school budgets, entrenched negative attitudes, widespread cluelessness about dietary principles,” and students’ fast-food habits. Oliver has tried to address these barriers in “exactly the right way” by involving principals, teachers and parents in the process.
