Sir David Attenborough (b. 1926) is an English broadcaster best known as the writer and presenter of the BBC’s Life nature documentaries. Attenborough was knighted in 1985 and is considered a national treasure in Great Britain. His brother was the late filmmaker Richard Attenborough.
