Despite warnings from Wise People, including legendary IIT Kharagpur Dean Prof. M. N. Farooqui, "You will sell groundnuts on streets," Tejinder Singh dropped out of IIT, Kharagpur in 1982.

Tejinder went on to complete a B.A. degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad, then chose a road less travelled and followed his dreams to become a journalist.

While working for Indian Railways, he did ghost writing for political figures, then went on to work for BBC, RFE/RL and a host of international media outlets.

Having lived in Switzerland, Germany, Greece, and Belgium, today Tejinder is editor-in-chief for the European Weekly, New Europe, based in Brussels, Belgium.
