Michael D. Gordin
Michael Gordin is Rosengarten Professor of Modern and Contemporary History in the History Department at Princeton University, where he specializes in the history of modern science, and since 2017 has served as Director of the Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts. Gordin is the author of books such as Scientific Babel: How Science Was Done before and after Global English, How Reason Almost Lost Its Mind: The Strange Career of Cold War Rationality, The Pseudoscience Wars: Immanuel Velikovsky and the Birth of the Modern Fringe, and On the Fringe: Where Science Meets Pseudoscience.
