Karl Sigmund
Karl Sigmund is a professor emeritus of mathematics at the University of Vienna. One of the pioneers of evolutionary game theory, he has authored books on mathematics and philosophy, including Games of Life, Exact Thinking in Demented Times and The Waltz of Reason.
In pre-War Cambridge, students had to ace an interview with Ludwig Wittgenstein to attend his lectures — Alan Turing passed that test, and went on to create one of his own.
