Jason Clark
Diomedes is a political philosopher and poet. He taught middle school in the Mississippi Delta and worked there as a fry cook, too. Lauded, waggish, and effete, he is an award-winning blues dancer known as Slim-J. At points prior to his apprenticeship in poetry at a major MFA program, he assisted the laboratory of a lesbian-owned sperm bank, a failed Vietnamese diner, and a civil rights law firm that sued on behalf of abused women and children in the foster-care system of New York City.
