The Oil and Gas Journals– we’re big OGJ guys- reports that the Yemen Liquefied Natural Gas pipeline will start delivering this summer. It has a lot of numbers interesting for people in the business, but this is the most salient one from the Yemeni perspective.

This is the country’s largest-ever industrial investment, from which the government expects to earn $30-50 billion over the next 20-25 years. The liquefaction plant at Balhaf is on the Shabwah coast 200 km southwest of Mukalla and 400 km east of Aden.

That is some pretty good money. Next step: getting the SeriBalqis past the pirates.
