Dan Ariely, the author of "Predictably
Irrational" and "The
Upside of Irrationality" stopped by Big Think's offices yesterday
to talk a little about the findings in his new book, touching on, among
other things, why companies that give big bonuses don't necessarily get
better performance out of their employees; why we tend to overvalue
things that we create ourselves; the inherent altruism in revenge; and
the futility of online dating.
