The Idea Connection newsletter recently included an exclusive interview with Michael Gelb, the author of How to Think Like Leonardo Da Vinci. According to Gelb, there are a handful of Da Vinci Principles for thinking like a genius each day:
Curiosita: An insatiably curious approach to life and an unrelenting quest for continuous learning.
Dimonstratzione: A commitment to test knowledge through experience, persistence, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.
Sfumato: A strong ability to hold creative tension to embrace the major paradoxes of life.
Arte/Scienza: The development of the balance between science and art, logic and imagination.
Corporalita: The cultivation of grace, ambidexterity, fitness, and poise.
Connessione: A recognition of, and appreciation for the interconnectedness of all things and phenomena.
Anyway, if you're eager to crack the Da Vinci Innovation Code, Michael Gelb will be hosting a Creativity and Innovation Leadership Seminar in April of this year in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You can download the brochure or visit his website to find out more.
