Hamid al-Ahmar’s Transcript

Apologies for the extended absence from Waq al-waq, but the shop is back up and running after a few detours on the way back from Yemen. First up is this long over-due transcript of Hamid al-Ahmar’s performance on al-Jazeera.

I had a chance to read the transcript in Yemen after one of the local papers re-printed it, but here it is for those looking for the on-line official version. I also had a chance to spend an hour or so with Hamid at his new house in San’a a few days after the interview and was able to take away quite a bit from our conversation.
