Is poor food disposal really akin to stealing?
On the occasion of the UN’s World Environment Day, Pope Francis said this week that “throwing away food is like stealing from the table of the poor and the hungry.”
The Pope called on all of the world’s Catholics to conserve and help the poor. But is improper food disposal really akin to stealing?
