stages of enlightenment

sciencesaves,

A great variety of attempts at creating "stages of enlightenment" populate history. From Buddha's teachings , on through the Celestine Prophecy, and beyond. You could fill a book, just listing the approaches.

So why haven't such offerings been adopted by the human species at large? It might be because we are taught to accept complacency, to learn just enough to reach bench-marks, etc. , arresting our individual development and preparedness.

Humans gravitate towards grasping-for-answers for and practice avoidance, from potentially and/or actual 'troubling' experiences. All because we are not taught well enough nor how to evolve our self beyond current, accepted, safe, and incomplete paradigms.
