Re: Are we capable of living without religion?

To my mind, religion can be broken down into two very distinct parts - the God stuff and the man-made stuff. The God stuff relates to our creator and the man-made stuff is cultural-mythology to make us feel more important in the scheme of things. We can live without mythology, but don't have much of a show without the Creator.

  • Across cultures, gay boys tend to be more interested in spending time with their mothers.
  • We still don't really know why gay people are attracted to each other.
