Is God vain?
If God is truly omnipotent and responsible for making man, then why did he create us as lesser beings? If we are created in his own image, why are we not bestowed with our own omni-qualities (omniscience, omni-presence, omni-benevolence, omnipotence, etc.)? God, being all-powerful, is quite capable of creating us as equals, yet he chose not to. What does this imply? Does God have a superiority complex? Is God vain? Access to heaven is contingent on our belief and worship in him after all. Is vanity a weakness? If God is vain and vanity is a weakness, is God truly omnipotent? Or is God’s omnipotence paradoxical?
