Many times I've heard people who are very well travelled claim that wherever they go, that when they take the time to talk to the people at the "grass roots" level, that they all care about and find joy in the same things.
I find it easy to believe this, yet if this is true, where does the conflict and fundamental distrust or hatred of other cultures arise?
