When books and newspapers were still the central hubs of idea and information dissemination, we were less lazy. And we were more intelligent, patient, and mature. What is going to happen when all books can only be read electronically and newspapers can only be surfed? What is going to happen when we are submerged with too much information too quickly? And when there are such lowered barriers to entry in the worlds of media and internet, how will we discern, out of the drone, what is truth and what is not?
I wish upon my generation a greater hunger for knowledge, a larger capacity for patience, and a sharper eye for truth.
