William Green commented on Re: Is the political system broken? (Part 2) on January 20, 2008, 7:38 PM

You leave me with a string of questions. If the Media is so influential and one sided, how does this explain your other comment with 95% of everyone's theories with what's wrong with America be true? Also, are the other 5% not important? How do we decide which theories are true or not?People already have a forum to speak in... you're using it. Your rebutle (if you type one) to my questions will only further this hypocracy since it proves you are allowed to disagree. This is a complex world where no one is absolutely correct on anything. I like the fact you don't trust the media (I don't either) but you've alienated me when you made the assumption all informed people think like you do. You say the political system is brocken, but fact is it's still twisting and turning to the times; sometimes for the good, sometimes for the bad.

William Green commented on Are CEO's salaries bloated? on January 20, 2008, 6:25 PM

What risk? If a CEO does well, they'll get paid; If a CEO fails, he gets paid to quit. Where's the risk? And as for "more money making better leaders", I use Lord Actin's words "absolute power corrupts absolutely". CEO's have the power to quit whenever they want to while the backs they're standing on don't have such luxury.

William Green commented on Tom Freston: The Income Gap on January 19, 2008, 11:19 PM

Wow, I have so much remorse for asking to keep jobs in my country when there's a billion people who need the money more! I should be starving too, stupid me. So companies moving jobs to India-China-Mexico are all trying to be philanthropists... It's nice seeing the rich sacrificing so much to do this.
