I'm a woman at the top edge of the boomer generation. I find it incredibly interesting to live and work in this multi-generation world. At my small company, for example (500 employees), our age range is 17 to 77. As manager of the training staff, I need frequent communication with people in all of those age groups so I can understand my coworkers and our training clients.I believe bigthink.com will help me. Other details: I have a husband (my best buddy for watching all sports except golf and hockey), two grown stepchildren, and a cat. I'd rather shop online than go to the mall. My personal missions are (1) to wipe out the practice of evaluating people's ideas by their affiliations (I want to live in a world where we don't say "that's typical of a conservative Republican" or "those liberal Ds are all like that" or "what can you expect from a NASCAR fan.") and (2) biz speak (if I never hear "drill down, granular information, step up to the plate, incentivize, or stakeholders" again, it will be too soon.)
