Right - Essentially I'm asking a nature vs. nurture question. I posed the question simplistically as a way to invite more conversation, but I admit I wasn't clear enough. It's hard to ignore the environmental impacts of curiosity, resilience, and tenacity in the acquiring of information, and the implications for what knowledge has on thought processes - be they now more creative, quicker, abstract, or not.
