I think the free market is basically good when business ethics are followed, creating goods and services, wealth, and jobs with benefits.
As for regulations, I think a bigger issue is transparency. How the Fed and Treasury work. Who they loan or give money to. Who benefits from these transactions. What is their connection to politicians as far as lobbying, friendships. How much money is in circulation, and how does that effect the value of existing currency?
Maybe their could be more regulation in some areas, less in others, but it is transparency I am more concerned about. The world should not be run by men behind curtains riding hot air balloons. They are full of hot air and will eventually run out of gas.
