I agree. We are talking about the 47 year war on drugs which has been a horrible failure. Alcohol prihibition didn't work in the 1920's and drug prohibition don't work now.

 We are spending 69 billion dollars a year on the drug war including prisons of which 85% of inmates are in for drug related crimes. We have meor people in jail in this country than any other in the world.
