Zealous Peace

Uploaded on 01/16/2008
Is the idea that all murder is never justified such an outrageous idea? I argue that it is not based on several points. The material things that people fight over are trivial in the bigger picture of existence. In this life we must all face death and all the things we own, all the empires that we have build will be left behind. In the instance of defending ones life and the lives of those he loves against an assailant I would argue that it is counter productive to fight back because to retaliate would be a regression in spiritual development. Which is what matters over all else. Even the most foul human beings can never be pure evil, criminal and psychological thought patterns are symptoms of the true disease, entrenched cycles of hate and human flaw. To try and create justified instances of any type of negative behavior would only encourage the same behavior elsewhere. If human progress is moving in the direction of peace and order than any sort of violent conflict is counter productive to this development.
