The rise in fuel costs coupled with the increasing role of the Chinese economy on the Global Marketplace is greatly going to diminish the value of the US dollar. Our imported consumer goods that drive our economy willl become more and more expensive decreasing our standard of living. It will be our percieved lack of economic vitality that will greatly alter the international perception of the US forever and we will lose our grasp as the lone global powerhouse.
