Many people think "why should I go vegan just to give a cow a happy life?" Well, it's about more than just the tortured cows. It's also about the illegal workers who must deal with deplorable and dangerous conditions. OSHA calls slaughterhouse work one of the most dangerous in the US. It's also about the environment and your health. Veganism is the only choice for a safe and sustainable future.

I'm vegan because it is wrong to kill another for any reason other than self-preservation. Their lives are important to them. Who am I to take it from them just because I like the taste of their dead body (or bodily secretions)? Not only that, but animal agriculture is horrible for the environment and people who live near by. Don't get me started on the workers. OSHA calls slaughterhouse work one of the most dangerous jobs in America. It is wrong--wrong, wrong, wrong!--to cause suffering and death to these desperate people just because I'm so selfish I want to eat flesh. I could seriously go on and on, but I'll stop here.
