thank you for making this video. I thought it was interesting that you thought certain books would make a good movie, but it turned out that others actually made it to that level. I think most books lose so much when they make that transition; of course, “the book was so much better” is co cliche. But still mostly true.

Films definitely can get to a larger audience and make a writer more money, so there are advantages.

What are your thoughts on making it as a writer and a screenwriter? As an unknown qualntity, the rejection of manuscripts can be extremely disheartening, but not enough to make me stop writing. What would your thoughts be to an unknown wannabe?
