After some members of Congress tried to cut its funding, the construction of the James Webb Telescope continues and is slated for launch in 2018.
The space telescope promises to give us a peek into the origins of the universe, but that will be an expensive peek. However, in today's lesson, Ross Pomeroy describes how we might actually be getting much more than we bargained for. He writes:
