his is not conducive, however, for collaboration. In order to effectively collaborate, MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito argues, you need to be able to go at least deep enough in another field in order to understand the nuances and recognize opportunities for cross-incubation.
And so in today's lesson, Ito looks at how we can mitigate the isolating effects of specialization and create a common space where brilliant people in every field can share ideas.
