1) Do you think world peace is achievable?Yes, with a lot of work!2) Do you desire world peace?Yes3) How would you describe the foundation for making or allowing world peace to happen? For everyone to see each other as equals and for our leaders to consider the future of all humans above that of individuals and nations. That's only a few steps in the right direction.4) What is inner peace?Having no regrettable conflict within your soul/mind?.......I%u2019m not sure.5) Do you desire inner peace?Yes6) Do you think inner peace is achievable?I don%u2019t know. I hope so.7) What would you say is the key to allowing inner peace in your life?Live without regret8) Do you think everyone is capable of filling their hearts with love?Yes9) Is thinking that someone doesn't deserve peace peaceful thinking?Yes10) Should the people that want peace leave the people that don't want peace behind? No, true peace cannot be achieved through conflict and more division.11) Do the people that don't "want/deserve it," simply require the most teaching/convincing?Depends on why they don%u2019t want peace. But I don%u2019t believe everyone can be convinced 12) What motivates people towards aggressive action?Hate, greed, ..etc. But not all are bad; the quest for freedom can just as easily lead to aggression. More important to remove the need for %u201Cmoral%u201D aggressive actions. 13) How can aggressive individuals overcome their aggressive tendencies?Rather than stop the aggressive individuals it would help if the rest of the people don%u2019t just jump in and fight for those aggressive people because their told to.14) How do you feel about people suffering? At this stage in human history (and in the past) it seems unavoidable. But I hope that all suffering can be reduced or eliminated in the future.15) How important is it for people to understand that big corporations, media, governments, and even some religious groups use fear tactics to manipulate the masses?It%u2019s very important for people to stop taking these authorities as truth and think for them self.

Thilina B commented on What makes you lack faith in humanity? on December 9, 2008, 2:15 AM
Mass ignorance! Complete disregard for every thing (the planet, the environment, our own survival)..........damn long list.Better question would be why would you have faith in humanity (as a whole not individuals)!
"What do you WANT the truth to be? "I think that statement explains the point of many religious views perfectly. The whole point of "truth" is that their is one option. You are mealy saying that you dont like reality so your going to substitute your own fantasy to replace your concept of reality. And why is an afterlife so important to you? is their something you can do their and not here?If every one where to stop tring to get into heaven and lived their life with out fear of eternal damnation, would their life not be better. … Read More

Thilina B commented on (one of the many) Weak Atheist Arguments on March 16, 2009, 4:23 AM
All religions are used to pacify and control the masses. I fail to see how nailing into the head of every person that obedience to god is everything and that faith should be unquestioned is anything but a means to control that person. Even to this day some of the most powerful people are religious officials, simply because we've all been told to obey them and never question them. Claiming it is anything but that is a very weak argument.
