Bradley Manning was sentenced today by a military judge to serve 35 years in prison for leaking 700,000 secret government documents to WikiLeaks. Manning had been found guilty on six counts for violating the Espionage Act of 1917.
Many on Twitter say Manning deserved worse. Others are suggesting that President Obama should pardon Manning at the end of his term.
Manning's lawyer David Coombs will be making a statement and answering questions from the press shortly.
