We live in a dichotomous reality. Happy, unhappy, good, bad, up, down, etc. Unhappy is the teacher--if your goal is to be happy, you can benefit from examining your judgements and expectations that manifest in unhappiness. You cannot have happiness without unhappiness. When we are happy, we ask ourselves "When will this end?" "How long will it last?" "How do I hold on to this?" No one can "make" you happy--you decide Actually, peace is a more rewarding goal.
