My young neice asked me recently why I like being "old".I told her it's because now I feel free of all the things that you are expected to do when you're young. I don't have to follow the pack, it really is a sense of freedom

Technology can be a distraction and is often used as a substitute for that elusive "happiness". Happiness is a state of mind and people tend to drown themselves in technology so that they don't have to worry about not being happy.

A man like Nelson Mandela is so rare and precious. How I wish we could put a Nelson Mandela in every troubled country in the world. I look at the so called leaders of some nations whose only interest is greed, oppression and hate and I truely dispair.
