Fresco has spent nearly his entire life developing detailed plans for a future society in which problems are always solved by technical or non-moralistic means.

These concepts are presented as part of The Venus Project, which is currently being advocated by The Zeitgeist Movement.

Excellent point, but the professor is too modest: consider the “progress” of civilization over 3000 years: almost none of it was as a result of moralistic fervor. Rather it was the acceptance of Law, that disputes can be resolved without any establishment of who are the “Bad Guys”, etc. Right now, there are wars, genocides, etc. going on; they won’t be solved by this kind of cheap moralizing that we’re so fond of, but they could be solved by Law. But of course, that requires that the rules apply to us as well, and people are reluctant to even think about such a thing: how could Nations be secure if the Presidents weren’t allowed to kill people? disigny
