Agree. To include gaining back lost respect across the globe and reinstating hegemony with that respect. Education and innovation have to be certainly priorities of the next administration.

Well thats a very interesting question. If your talking politics, I guess the shit-hole. If your talking economics, maybe a overheated economy and a gradual drop in there record high GDP. If your talking about socio-cultural attitude of the Indian people, lets say an arrogant life style with practices of rather dogmatic religious beliefs.

The argument clearly is are we moving towards a globalization of not capital but of culture. And Mr. Tharoor would be the best person to understand that looking at his work across the world and India. Media is controlled by conglomerates, and since media is powerful influence of political institution I think it has a power to set a ground rule. Media also influence that society's standards and its rules, the accepted or rejected.
