First world countries have the luxury of experimenting with greener ways of life. This is a luxury developing nations are hard pressed to afford. Many minds think their growth requires greening, perhaps even more so than the first world. Does the first world, with all of its aid and investment, really have a the right, or the responsibility, to make the third world go green? Is it necessary no matter who says so?
