My hope is that this idea of unlocking potential in individuals, one by one, as Wangari Maathai did in Kenya, becomes a huge groundswell. Yes, new age prophets talk about this — but thinkers such as John Dewey and Jurgen Habermas theorize about about our ability to know together what none of us could know alone. I wish we could all think and use the "conversation" model more fluently — rather than the "instant umbrage" model that prevails here in the United States. Reese Dykers
