I am 21,student.Opposite of my parents, I hold no desire for an automobile. I want to manage my business with public transportation. I cannot help but feel like there are many in my situation who feel the same way. Price is not the only incentive for me to chose p-trans, but the ecological issues is definitely playing a role as well as other factors.

He seems to be putting a lot of emphasis on how easy it was to get by on $5 a gallon oil, and what things were like in the past. What in the world makes him think that oil cannot go a lot higher? If it does, isn’t it obvious that massive amounts of our infrastructure will be made instantly obselete? Thanks to “just-in-time” “efficiencies”, we are insanely vulnerable to oil shortages, or even very high prices. I ask you, if the trucks stop servicing Supermarkets, exactly how close are we all to national famine? A month? It would be a good idea to figure this out at our leisure, rather than when it happens. disigny
