It’s good to hear that the future holds the interdepence and cooperation path for energy sources.  I have noticed, too that there is more cooperation between countries as natural gas pipelines are built between Central Asia, Russia, and Europe.  Including between countries the U.S. still perceives as ‘natural enemies.’

I’m concerned though, at the U.S.’ continued use of the military to gain access to pipelines of the future by building military bases stratigically placed in Afghanistan and neighboring Central Asian countries.  I suspect the large base at Kosovo is also part of the U.S. energy plan.  Another concern I have is that the U.S. is using NATO and the U.S. military in Georgia to renew a war (cold or hot, I don’t know) between Georgia and Russia.
