I certainly agree with your points. The chief rationale of human nature is influenced in some degree by virtue of education, mimesis and endogenic knowledge.

I suspect girardian mimesis and watsonian behaviorism are that relevant, since otherwise we would have witnessed a landmark in social and behavioral engineering. Be that as it may, I suspect that imitation is a symptom of insecurity. The current growth of insecurity can mislead us to overstate the mimetic desire.

A new basic education must be provided to everyone. It extends academic tuition, including goleman’s emotional education. This will prevent people from turning into “crazy/dangerous/bad”. I think your suicide bomber example captures that thought.
