P Conner commented on Is the media to blame for the war in Iraq? on January 10, 2008, 8:24 AM
I believe the media is showing a reasonable and fair representation of the war in Iraq. If the war in Iraq is being misrepresented, then the US military commanders should be holding their own press conference. This is a democracy, and if the commanders do not like what the media is saying, too bad. Then fix it.

I agree with Paul Krugman. The Middle class in America are feeling left behind. The corporations and corporate executives are making record profits, but the American worker is seeing a huge increase in food, shelter, and transportation costs. The income inequality is growing wider.

Did he pay to put this video on the web site? Any candidate plays to win. That is part of the problem with the political process. There is no compromise between the political parties.
P Conner commented on Why do you give back? on January 9, 2008, 6:04 PM
"Trickle down economics" is a failure to most Americans. Because nothing has "trickled down" to the average American. 2% of the people own 50% of the wealth in the world. That means a poor person is fighting with over 1000 other poor people for a small amount. That type of scenario can make for a revolution. Wealthy people have to give back to the community.
