There is a ticking time bomb in American politics and the U.S. economy -- the great great divide in expectations between the generations.
On the one hand, there is the retiring boomer generation, who have paid social security taxes and expect entitlement reimbursements. On the other hand, there is the rising generation, with diminished expectations, and an enormous pile of debt. Some call these kids entitled.
Jack Myers, however, considers these much-maligned generation the next potential "great generation," and you will ignore them at your peril. After all, they will inherit the future, and they are already the masters of the modes of production that determine our future.
